Halloween 2006
Ahhhhhhhhh, another Halloween. Children ringing the doorbell, Bella going crazy and my son telling me he does not want to trick or treat anymore.
He tells me it is because he has hit puberty, and now he is more of a manly-man instead of a little kid. I suppose it was inevitable, after all he is 10!!
Years ago I accepted the fact taht he was not going to allow me to select his precious costumes, like: Elvis: The Early Years, or Ribbit: The Frog. I even faced the yearly Batman, Batman Beyond and All other super hero costumes, which we brought throughout the year. But I'm not at all sure how to come to terms with the 'never again.'
I am concerned about how this will affect my scrapbooking. I have a book dedicated to Halloween and I really didn't plan on it being a short book.
Oh well. I guess this year's entry will have to show pictures of him answering the door and giving out the candy.
Such are the rites of passage. For both of us.

Welcome to the world of blogging Melody! Mine's been up and running for months and I do enjoy posting my thoughts on being an artist. Happy belated Halloween...I promise not to ring your doorbell! :-)
